Festival Mark Scheme

In April 2024, the British International Federation of Festivals (BIFF) launched a new mark scheme, which we have adopted at The Peterborough Drama Festival, with effect from our 2025 festival.

The mark scheme promotes BIFF’s core values of Perform, Education and Inspire.

Adjudicators working at our Festival will allocate marks and categories according to the following guidelines in keeping with advice from the British Federation. All entrants will receive a certificate and a remark sheet that will indicate the number of marks awarded.

Trophies and Cups will only be awarded for marks of 80 or over.
