Our Adjudicator for 2026
The Peterborough Drama Festival are pleased to announce that Priscilla Morris will be returning to our festival as our adjudicator.

Priscilla is adjudicating at The Peterborough Drama Festival on both Friday 6th and Saturday 7th March 2026.
Priscilla was a member of the National Youth Theatre before training at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London. In 1972 she founded her own drama school in the midlands, which she handed over to her daughter in 2013, although she continues to teach youngsters and adults at her home studio.
She was a LAMDA examiner for 34 years and examined throughout the UK, Europe, Singapore, USA, Sri Lanka the UAE, China and Vietnam.
Her association with BIFF began in 1973 when she started entering her students for local festivals, before becoming a Speech & Drama adjudicator in 1991 and she has been privileged to work for the Bermuda, Sri Lanka and Hong Kong festivals. Since 2021 she has been a committee member at the Nuneaton Festival of Arts, where she is the Vocal secretary.
In 1997 her book ‘Introducing Shakespeare to Young People’ was published by Oberon Books.
Priscilla devised and delivered specialist voice protection courses for the coaches of Swim England for 25 years until she handed the work on to a colleague in 2023 and she has worked with teachers in Shanghai on ‘Bringing English to Life’ in the classroom.
She has directed and acted in over 40 plays, musicals and pantomimes during her performing life. Now, she spends some of her time in the business sector with her company, Loud & Clear voice coaching and as a professional speaker she enjoys entertaining audiences on P&O cruise ships with talks about performers in Literature and Theatre.
In 2021 she was delighted to join the Board of Trustees of BIFF and in October 2023 she was elected to the post of Vice Chair. She looks forward to steering this wonderful organisation into its second century.
Priscilla is delighted to return to the Peterborough Drama Festival this year to see the talent showcased by all entrants.
